Second day we continued to the Todgha Gorges and on to Ouarzazate. Third day was a brief stop at Atlas Studios, continuing on the road of Kasbahs to Ait Benhadou, the Tizi n'Tichka mountain pass and finally to Marrakech.

We highly recommend Yahya and Perfect Travel Excursions! The entire tour was customized to our needs, interests and comfort. He explained everything in detail and stopped whenever we needed a break. The van was extremely comfortable and he was an incredible driver. The restroom breaks were clean and well stocked.

We loved both properties that were selected for the overnight stays - the ride through the desert and night in the Sahara were magical. The hotel in Ouarzazate was modern and so comfortable. The private tour was at our pace, we didn't have to worry about endless shopping stops and waiting on others, we are so glad we did our trip with Yahya! The camp was clean, the staff very friendly, and the tents bathroom and shower worked very well. Yahya is a great “fixer” and was able to assist us with several other parts of our trip. Our tour guide Yahya picked us up in the evening for our hotel transfer and was with us for 7 days straight. Once he’d pick us up, he would stay with us until he dropped us back (keeping a safe distance to give us time just as a family but being close enough to help and participate should we need him). He was incredibly kind, knowledgable, patient with us, genuine, and above all, he made our time in Fes the best holiday we have ever had as a family. He showed us hidden gems that we hadn’t even expected, which left us super happy. When we wanted to eat something, he would take us to the best places. Yahya helped up pack in a much as we could within the 7 days he was with us, including 2 days to and back from the Sahara dessert, the blue city, meknes, volubilis and moulay idriss day trip. Quad biking, feeding the monkeys, touring us around Fes. All done within the comfort of his excellent ride which more than comfortably fitted my family of 5. So much so that my 16 year old motion sick child (who vehemently hates car rides) actually asked me if we could just go for a super long ride in Yahya’s car! Anything we wanted to do or were interested in, Yahya went above and beyond to try and arrange it.
I cannot begin to express my gratitude towards Yahya for making our time in Morocco such a memorable one. This was our first holiday since 2019 (our last coincidentally being Marrakech!) and it was a much needed break and bonding experience for my family of 5. And yahya helped us make it one which we will never forget!

  Our private walking tour with Abdul was a great introduction to the Fez Medina. Abdul met us at our hotel, gave us a history lesson as we walked and pointed... read more out several things we would not have noticed on our own. We were also taken places that were very interesting and that we never would have found on our own. We were taken to a few shops which is not something we really wanted but well worth the time. We never would have known that inside those obscure doors off a side alley contained magnificent showrooms of metal and fabric artists where the quality was far superior to the more visible shops. Very interesting and no pressure to buy.
A big plus of having a private guide was just to be able to wander through the maze that was the Medina without having to worry about where you were and how to find your way out. It made for a fascinating and relaxed half day. Highly recommended.
