So glad he was available to help with the bargaining - was not what we were used to and didn’t expect to find shopping in the middle site seeing.

We started with our own personal driver who drove us around the outskirts of town with the most amazing viewing points, then we continued our day through the medina. We’ve learnt, seen, experienced and tasted so much on this day, it was easily my favorite day of the entire Morocco trip. We’re leaving Fès not only in love with this city, but also with a new friend. Cannot wait to be back!

  Our private walking tour with Abdul was a great introduction to the Fez Medina. Abdul met us at our hotel, gave us a history lesson as we walked and pointed... read more out several things we would not have noticed on our own. We were also taken places that were very interesting and that we never would have found on our own. We were taken to a few shops which is not something we really wanted but well worth the time. We never would have known that inside those obscure doors off a side alley contained magnificent showrooms of metal and fabric artists where the quality was far superior to the more visible shops. Very interesting and no pressure to buy.
A big plus of having a private guide was just to be able to wander through the maze that was the Medina without having to worry about where you were and how to find your way out. It made for a fascinating and relaxed half day. Highly recommended.
