Discover the Desert, the Nomad life and the Kasbahs, with our 4 days Desert Tour from Fez to Marrakech. Depart from Fez through the Middle Atlas Mountains, The Oasis of Palm trees and desert landscape to the towering dunes of Merzouga. Gently ride your camel to a desert camp and visit the Nomads in their humble homes. And continue to Marrakech through the Todgha Canyon and the road of Kasbahs.
Day 1: Fes - Ifrane - Erg Chebbi.
Pick up by your driver around 8:00 AM, then depart south through the Middle Atlas mountains. Stopping by Ifrane and alps styled village, Cedar forest in Azrou with its Barbary Apes, eagerly waiting to be feed. Arriving to Midelt, we will stop by a local restaurant for lunch (Not included). Reaching Ziz Valley, a Oasis of Palm Groves in contrast with a dry and desert landscape. Upon arrival, ride your camel, to a desert camp set in middle of the dunes. reaching the camp, and after watching the breathtaking sunset, sleep under an astral sky. Dinner and accommodation in a desert camp.
Day 2: Merzouga.
An early wake up, to watch the dreamiest sunrise from the top of a sand dune. After breakfast, take a thrilling ride in a 4x4 road vehicle to cross the rolling dunes and bounce over and down steep elevations . Then, visit a nomad family, and stop for a tea in their humble tent. Continue to the village of the Black and enjoy live Gnoua ( music originally from the Sub-Saharaian countries) in the village.Back to the desert camp (Or to a hotel located at the edge of the sand dunes), and enjoy a relaxing evening.
Day 3: Merzouga - Todgha Gorges - Ouarzazate:
Breakfast. After hop inside a 4x4 to the hotel for breakfast and a shower. Depart to Ouarazzate, while stopping by the Todgha Gorges, stroll in the street alongside the river between the towering rocky walls. Continue to Ouarzazate, visit Film Production Studio, film directors favorite set. Including dinner and accommodation.
Day 4: Ouarzazate / Ait Benhadou / Marrakech:
After breakfast, Depart to the Red city of Marrakech, through the road of Kasbahs. Stopping at Ait Benhadou, a fortress, served as a setting for several Hollywood movies, then crossing the Tizi n’ Tishka mountainous passage. Arriving to Marrakech in the late afternoon, and drop you off at your hotel.
